PRODUCTS & SERVICES - Joinery Works

We have many years experience of using timber externally in the harsh gulf climate, and are able to offer warranties on the timber components of up to fifty years.

With conservation in mind, we strongly promote the use of timber from either plantation or managed forests.

The majority of our projects have involved the use of glue-laminated timber (glulam). This ensures that all of the timbers are kiln dried through to the core and helps negate the effects of twisting which is often the case when using large solid timber sections.

Our glulam beams are structurally engineered for their specific purpose. In addition by using glulam we are able to provide much longer lengths than when using solid timber. The ‘Keel’ truss, above, spans 34m. By using glulam, curved shapes can easily be manufactured.

The world’s largest timber structure has a clear span of 200m and timber structures that are over 400-years old still survive today.

Because of our experience within this very specialized sector, we have been invited to complete projects in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Yemen and further afield in India.
